Oskara Contemporary dance

December 17-20 (4 daily performances lasting for 15 minutes)

Oskara in progress I, 12 am and 6 pm
Oskara In progress II, 1 pm and 7 pm

Two great figures and choreographers of contemporary dance, Jon Maya (Kukai) and Marcos Morau (La Veronal) have specifically created for the occasion the project Oskara in homage to ancestral Basque culture, personalized in this case by the works of Eduardo Chillida and Jorge Oteiza on display as part of the exhibition Masterpieces from the Guggenheim Bilbao Collection. This dance proposal, to run over several days in the Museum Atrium, is the result of an artist residencies program.

Oskara will also constitute the first link in a project to continue with theatre from February 2016 in cities including Bilbao, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Pamplona, San Sebastián (on the occasion of its year as European Capital of Culture) and Bayonne. Sponsored by LABORAL kutxa.
